The Truth You Need to Hear (and Probably Don’t Want To)
I’m fired up, and I need to share something. I just had one of those conversations—the kind you only have when you’re serious about growth and seeing someone succeed. This client, an absolute rockstar in tech sales, recently started trailing off a bit in his engagement. He’s a high performer, he knows his numbers, he’s sitting at the top of his team, but there’s more to it.
When I asked him straight up, “If I picked apart one of your calls right now, how many things would I find to coach you on?” He didn’t hesitate: “A lot,” he said. I pushed further: “Do you really want to be great?” Of course, he answered yes.
But here’s the uncomfortable truth: Good performers often think they’re great. Great performers? They know they’re not. That’s why they never stop.

If this hits, I’m glad. And if it doesn’t? Maybe it’s just a wake-up call for the right time.
See you next Sunday!
